Is DPReview's forums broken or is it just me?

I have never had any issues posting images on here, since 2005.  However I tried today and here is what I found:

1) I can no longer link images from Flickr.  Copying/pasting the URL in the format http://blah.flickr.com/blah/24323432/ does not work - it either hangs at "Inserting image" or it complains that the image is not in the correct format (it is looking at file extension and Flickr has none).

2) I can no longer link any images available on the web.  I tried clicking "Insert/Edit image from web" and then the URL of the image - in the format http://www.blah.com/images/somefile.jpg and it sits there, spinning forever at "Inserting image".  The popup window with that text never finishes.  I tried 5 different images from 5 different web sites.

3) I tried this using the latest FireFox, Chrome and Safari on the mac, and also IE10 on Windows - all do the same, I can never link an image.

4) Embedding the link http://blah.com/images/somefile.jpg inside the body of the post does not work - it does not render the image, just the link.

5) I have tried searching for a solution but found none.
