Which is fine, because that mono sound should only be used for reference to later sync your stereo sound recorded with proper tools in post production. If mono is good enough for you, don’t tell me 1-2 frames delay make any difference…None of respecting pros uses that built in sound for production videos, only as reference and none of them complains about it.

btw. turn of auto gain and it will not be an issue.
