Giving up the DSLR gear for m4/3rds? Why?

I'm still teetering on the brink. Need reasons to either "jump" or move away from the edge.
The smaller size of the m4/3rds has always been a plus. And now the quality of the images being produced by m4/3rds gear is getting close, or even equal to, that of DSLRs. If it wasn't for the inability to handle action sports, I wouldn't even be asking this question.
So.....I'd be very interested in hearing from those who have taken the plunge, and have gone completely into the world of m4/3rds, and who have ditched all of the DSLRstuff when doing so.
Why did you do it? Are you content with your decision? And what sort of images do you take, and what gear do you now have(use).
I have a big (for me, anyway) trip to the American SW planned for this next spring. For such a trip, I would think m4/3rds gear would be just fine.
Please comment if you are one who has come over to the "lighter" side; leaving your DSLR gear behind.
