Yes and no. The issue only existed on a single body, the GX1. On other bodies, like my friend's G5, it's stellar. It's a non-issue for me since I prefer traditional manually operated zooms.

It's a strange issue, too. I tried one out, and when the IS is shut off it can produce excellent images. When the IS is engaged (on the GX1 only) it  produces "double-struck" images at middle shutter speeds. Weird.
