The panasonic LX7 and Samsung ex2f(?) still have their place, particularly since they are cheaper than the RX100 by a significant margin. I am worried that Ricoh will set too high a selling price (if this patent actually turns into a product), i.e. the same as/higher than than the RX100. But the concept of a good quality zoom with phase detection for speed focussing really excties me. It would be a great complement to my GXR A12-50. I would prefer it as a GX300 rather than a module, though.
