What I was told a while ago is: the Noritsu printer my local ( Lacey Wa ) Costco uses, only recognizes 8 bit srgb jpg files. This may be outdated information.
Also any time any image that has been edited, including jpgs output from raw, the meta data is changes. When you go to print them at Costco you need to check the box on the last screen that says , turn off autocorrection. Otherwise you pictures may not come out right. Un edited files as output from the camera need autocorrection on.
My understanding about Dry Creek profiles is if you use them with a calibrated monitor your prints will match more closely.
