Look for angles. low, high, etc. Be aware of backgrounds. If these will be portraits try to have cars front a plain background or perhaps an industrial scene. Just be sure it's not distracting. Shooting details is good. Watch for reflections in paint and chrome, some can be used others are distracting. A polarizer will bring out richer colors and lessen reflection issues. I use LR4 to balance highlights and shadow detail.
