Interesting. Now we'll be able to find out which DA(*) lenses can cover 35mm without having to process film.

I'm afraid the answer would be "None" if you plan to use in-body camera shake reduction with all focal lenghts supported by the lens of your choice. You should be able to use most of them if you don't plan to use SR and/or are willing to sacrifice the wider angles of your zooms.

Wasn't that soundly disputed by more than one knowledgeable poster on this forum?

I seriously doubt the posters you refer are more "knowledgeable" than the Pentax Head of Business Development. For some reason he is not aware of the full frame capabilities of the DA* line and explains that there are no FF lens being manufactured today by Pentax:

"In our case, many of FF lenses have already been discontinued and only FA Limited Lenses and some others are available. When we go with FF, we need to line-up new lens line. It is different from the other manufacturers that have been producing FF cameras."

Cheers,

I think you're changing the subject.  Did the the Pentax person have anything to say about the affect of SR on whether their lenses will work with FF cameras or not?
