Two jetties, two lenses.

These photos show two totally opposite approaches to a similar subject, and in fact were taken within minutes of each other, and from practically the same location (within metres).
First image is a typical UWA sunset photo of an old jetty. It would be pretty boring if the sky and light weren't so interesting.
Second image is taken with the 100-300, and the various silhouetted tableaux make the photo interesting.

A common misconception that I see so often in this forum, is that WA or UWA is essential for landscape photography. I think that is wrong.
