dont get this lens stuff.. i want a 35mm like my 18-200mm vr II at 35m

All Nikkors are marked with their one and only focal length, i.e. the intrinsic property of the lens. The field of view that can be obtained with the lens depends on sensor size. To get the same FOV on a FX camera that the 18-200 allows on a DX camera, you would need a 28-300 lens. Which Nikon also produces, by the way ...
