Hello,

I've also found that the Sony has problems in low light outdoors:

1) Halos around street lights quite often look funny

2) Hunting for focus back and forth

3) I'm sure I've held the camera steady with support from a railing etc., but pictures come out blurry anyway (not always). I think it's related to 2).

I'm trying to get to grips with this. For a start I will start using reading glasses in these situations, because it's hard to see on the screen whether focus is where you want it. The manual focus is fiddly when it's dark and cold. I would like Sony to sort this out via a firmware upgrade.

Overall though, I think it's a great camera, but I'd rather use my D700 for the night shots.
Regards,
Anders
