Is Panasonic "X" lens fixed?

Hi,

I am thinking to buy a Panasonic GF3 camera with "X" lens. But when I use Google to search it I found this lens has the "double-image" issue described in some posts. The posts were a bit old (about 1 year ago?). So I was wondering whether the issue got fixed? If yes, is it fixed in hardware or software? In case I bought some "old" camera which still has this issue.
