Canon 1d4

Not really interested in the 1D X as  a birder. I'm always FL limited and the 1D IV puts 50% more pixels on the subject than the 1D X in these situations. I'd need to upgrade my 500mm to a 600mm to get back to square one. I know the 1D X is a better camera, but the 1D IV is still superb and I decided to pair it with a 5D III, and both cost me the same as a 1D X, giving me a more flexible setup and I get basically the same AF as the 1D X anyway.

Very disappointed they killed off the APS-H sensor, perfect for wildife. It might not matter down the track if they release high speed high pixel count FF of 30MP or more but for now that seems a long way off.
