Hi,
I did send my lens to Nikon to have tilt and shift on the same plan. According to Nikon they have t o Change 4 parts and total cost will be 270€
According to These 2 sites and also other sites it is very easy to-do and without changing anything:

So is Nikon ripping me off? The best: If I don't agree to do this they charge me 50€ just for looking at the lens. What would you do? Pay 50€ and do it yourself or pay the stupid 270€
There have been reports of an unannounced internal design change that means you can't just re-use what's in the lens now; there is an actual parts replacement required. Those older sites may be referring to the previous version.
