Disk Partition

I am running Windows XP Pro on my C: drive.

I want to partition my C: drive so that I can install Windows 7 Ultimate on the Paartition.

If I later want to put back the disk without partition and eliminate the part that holds the Windows XP and just run the Windows Ultimate and have the whole disk for Ultimate; can this be done?
