Watching the tide come in..

I like the attitude that this conveys. The haze has a nice effect on the image and the composition makes good use of the long diagonal. I wish more of the water was included.

I hope you don't mind, I was going to suggest trying B&W but thought that the subject might get lost, so I pulled it into Photoshop and did a quick conversion to see what it looked like in B&W. I think converting it to B&W brings out the texture in the sand and rocks and enhances the effect of the haze, but the subject does blend into the background with the color removed.  I tried bringing back the color in her hat. I haven't done a selective color edit in a long time. It's gimmicky, but I kind of like it:
