PZ16-50 Barrel Distortion Correction

I don't have any experience with Hugin, but removing the barrel distortion in Lightroom 4.2 with ACR was quick and simple.  Quite simply, I see the barrel distortion at 16mm as a non-issue with the 16-50 lens.  If you shoot JPEG the camera corrects it for you, and if you shoot RAW there is software available which makes it one-click simple.  In my opinion this is a very small price to pay for the convenience of a pocketable zoom for the NEX series, and I fail to understand all of the people returning the lens for this reason only.
