Thank you Dominique!

About the softness of the images in the forum, i started this thread contacting dpreview:

In sum, DPreview said the new forum shouldn't soften the pictures, so I'm wondering how many are zooming in on the forum pages using the browser - I was. This will scale the images from their small forum-sized resolution and make them very soft. If you click on the pictures, the images show in larger size: 940 pixels on the long edge, and the fonts are also larger. So I'll be resizing most of my pics to that size when posting here. Your original images showed just like the ones on pbase.

That would explain the problem. The forum software resizes a "view" size of the linked photos and simply bloats that one up to 960px when the user wants to see a larger version, but is not going to show any more details.

The detail of tiles of the fountain are excellent on the full-size image, and i'm glad to hear you failed to produce moire!

I was really surprised when looking at this fountain shot in full-size. I was not aware that the 16-50 (which I am not a fan of) was able to render such fine details. Yes, I failed with moire... There were a lot of subjects here in Lisbon and Sintra where I really expected moire, but failed. So far, I have no idea if the moire reduction of LR actually works or not.

Well, I am now going to process the photos of today...
