While I like the above set a lot, the bride's dress highlights are blown out in nearly all the pictures. Either exposure error or the camera DR or both.

It is your monitor. The photos have no blown detail where it is important. I use a calibrated monitor for photo/print editing. And I know the calibration is good because I have seen the prints. I would say your monitor is too bright and your contrast setting is off.
