a99 model studio shot. bloody good quality to me and my learnings full res

I am coming over from Nikon (DX) so I am interested in what you would recommend as I am not they au fait with the lenses for "a mount" FF.   Long exposure landscapes and street portraiture ?  I had though of the SCZ 16-35 but it seems to be less than impressive ? so maybe the the SCZ 24-70 and suck up no UWA and SCZ 85 1/4 for really narrow DOF (I am hoping I don't have to open it up too much)  ?  Then for widlife (birds not in fligh, mostly honey eaters) later, 70-400 G with a 1.4TC for extra reach when necessary ?    All with RAW and PP in LR

Occasional dragged into do some sports shooting for mountain bike racing, 24-70 should be great for that ? (crappy lighting, deep shade etc, needs a speedlight as well) I can get very close to the track (JPG as I do 100's if not 1000 shots or so, mostly straight from the camera)

Thoughts ? or other suggestions you think are worth a look ?
