Your flickr link has some marvellous shots. What clarity - truly outstanding. Especially the heron's eyes at such long zoom. What type of post processing you generally do or suggest one should do ?

For best pp (at least to me) I use Photoshop Elements with ad on filter Topaz Adjust which I highly recommend. If on a budget Picasa - from Google is free and at times its I'm feeling lucky button can rival pse and topaz.

My images with a tpz in the name have the PSE+topaz adjust treatment, others have been run through picasa, Nice thing about Picasa for super zoom cams is it shows 35mm equivalent that a lot of other commercial software doesn't (at least that I used).

Flickr will show exif data if you click on camera name as in

This photo was taken on October 16, 2012 using a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.

If you go down enough it will show what editing software was used and what digital zoom if any the cam had set.

Some in camera settings that will affect the tone of images are my colors vivid and P for positive film but of course this is a personal taste depending on your sensitivity. My experience in these forums is that color sensitivity will make or break a cam for some. Fortunately I don't have the that sensitivity.

785mm, shooting mode Program AE, my colors vivid image size large superfine, sooc
