Macro with legacy lenses on the OMD - The IBIS advantage
6 months ago
|
I don't know if it was mentioned before but I had an interesting find.
I use the Minolta 100mm F4 macro lens on the OMD, when I use it in non-macro distances I set the IBIS distance to 100mm. However, I found that in high mganification I get consistantly better results when the IBIS is set to 150mm instead of 100mm. This make sense since in high magnification every small movement makes a big difference and its as the focal length is effectively bigger.
I was wondering if anyone else noticed it.
