I personally settled probably on XF-1 (still have a week for return) as the new XZ.
The lens is not as great as xz-1, the image quality is somehow comparable, the xf-1 having slight edge in high iso (but nowhere the sony ISO)... well of course unless I go for the 6MB EXR low noise which then shows greater improvement - but frankly I can probably do that in PP and get less noisy 6MB from noisy 12 MB image.
For straight JPG files there is bigger advantage in fx-1 as it doesn't mush greens as much as the oly.
Anyway, just saying, this may be a good alternative, but in general not a huge difference over xz-1 if you expect to find one.
As to rx100 - both xz-1 and xf-1 gives more pleasant image in general.
