Epson 3880 sudden compete single color stoppage

The carttridges I bought are refillable and could be bought empty or filled at factory for the first time....which is what I bought. Please follow the discussion above.  I will post pics tomorrow of the fronts and faces of both the OEM and generic refillables I have.  There are major differences and many more openings on the refillables and I clearly do not understand what all the ports are for.
