Let's talk tripods...

I need to find a tripod to add to my kit.  Something that's light and portable, but sturdy enough for most use.  B&H seems to have dozens in stock, at a cost ranging from the low 20's to hundreds of dollars. I need to narrow the options down a it.  Any suggestions...?
