Epson 3800 dies... Questions...

...no longer feeds paper via the primary tray.  The mechanism is broke.  It's 5 years old.  It's been a good printer but never seemed all that well made.  The front panel was very flimsy and that lock broke years ago.  It was often an exasperating trouble maker when it came to feeding single sheets in the rear feeder ("skew" issue).  Why not one feeder that works well rather than three?

I'm buying a replacement.

Is everybody reasonably happy with the 3880?  I see Mountain Lion drivers are out; I like this in a manufacturer.

Anybody using the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF5100 under Mountain Lion and enjoying the experience?

Is HP ever going to update their pro photo printer line?
