Ancient sensor? Personally, I'm not a believer in over-populated sensors, and I think 12MP is more than adequate.

What does that mean? There are too many people living in the sensor?

Sorry, my metaphor evidently confused you. What I was trying to say was that I don't like sensors having too many pixels. Beyond a certain point, it doesn't usually offer tangible benefits but can cause problems. Unfortunately the manufacturers have to bow to the wishes of the masses, to avoid being labelled "ancient".
