Great idea, I hadn't really thought about going outside of Sapporo but a day trip into the countryside if the weather is good would be wonderful.

I hope the weather is helpful - either sunny or snow is better than the usual grey, wet, dark, cold days that are typical there.

Me too! I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed for some good weather but keeping my expectations low.
