Is there an adapter or other way to use autofocus with an AF lens on an AF-S body (D5100)?

I got this AF lens and a D5100. Love the long focal length, but too hard to focus Can anything be done?

I'm afraid there's no adapter available ... The D5100 body simply lacks the motor needed to turn the "screwdriver" AF linkage in your lens. Plus, the D5100 viewfinder isn't very bright either, so manual focusing will remain difficult. Only solutions: trade the lens for an AF-S lens ... or trade the body for one which has a built-in focus motor.
