The Instagram Effect

The many millions of people over the world who are presently using Instagram in combination with their mobile/cell phone cameras, do you believe they will look back on all these photos that they took in 5, 10 years time from now and cringe with horror at not being able to find a natural looking photo of their families and children etc?

I like Instagram a lot but it has a certain look and effects that are a bit loud and over the top and I wouldn't want to limit my photography just to that.
