I mostly shoot in RAW so not that big an issue for me but a few days ago my friend bought a Fuji X10 and I love that camera. What impressed me most was the way JPG's are handled in the Fuji. Pictures are very nice, colours look great and the noise is really film-like, not the blotchy crap the NEX puts out.

Any idea why the Sony's can't seem to get this right? I would love to shoot in JPG more if the output was more film-like and not so over-processed as it is now.

Fuji's JPEG engine excels in color & noise, but trading off the highlights & details compare with Sony
