Qv1.1 + DA 55-300 handheld at 300mm

I can't disagree with you at all. I'm a camera-in-my-face guy, and really dislike using the LCD as a VF. I'm hoping the next Q (I don't look at the Q10 as the Q successor, and think the Magnesium body will be offered in a new Q2 flagship down the road) will have an optional EVF.

At this time, I don't mind using a hood loupe so I can bring the camera up to my eye. It's bulky, but with a long tele K lens, the whole thing is bulky, so it's really not a big thing, and the hoodloupe gives me a huge ultra bright VF.
