It always seems im trying to get wider shots. Either by stitching or other tricks. My 17-70 is my standard lens and most of the shots are at 17. I have gotten into astral photography lately, and the 8-16 is slow...but the 10-20 isn't any faster really. At 8mm ISO 6,400 or 12,800 and f/4.5 I can freeze the stars when I really want to...not that I do it that often. I like trails more.
A 10mm lens with f/1.8 aperture thats tack sharp wide open and sells for $200 would be nice. lol Anyway, no one lens is going to fit every photography situation.
