copying boot drive problems
|
Sorry to bring this up, but. I bought a new SSD for my boot drive and I want to replace my current SSD boot drive. Obviously a simple copy won't work. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and using Windows 7 backup software I backed up my boot drive to another drive and created a recovery disk. I disconnected my current boot drive and booted to the recovery disk. When I tried to restore the boot drive from the disk I backed it up to, to my new SSD I got the error "no disk that can be used for recovery can be found".
Thanks. I see other people having problems and it shouldn't be that hard.
