RAW for the techno deprived?

I shoot raw and use Lightroom, I rarely use TIF. Most of my basic edits are strictly in Lightroom and I only 'export' (save as JPG) those that I want to post to the web or email to people. For the occasions where Lightroom edits are not enough then I 'edit in Photoshop' which will then result in a TIF file unless you specifically request otherwise.
