budget and performance, the 55-200 would be the best choice. besides, the 20-50 is very compact that it would allow you to carry it whenever you need it. I'd say personally that you would be shooting more with the 20-50 during your travels and occasionally use the 50-200 when you need to. save yourself the extra $400.
