Changing to primes
|
I have used zoom lenses for the past 20 years and on FF cameras like Canon 5D mkII and Nikon D800.
However I realise to get the best out of a sensor primes may be the best option.
My main problem is making the change, I am convinced that zooms give you more creativity and allow you to compose the image better.
That said I know some people would say use your feet and you will find better images my changing angles etc.
Can anyone give me their own experiences on changing to primes?
I mainly shoot landscapes but also like to do a bit of wildlife, here is a cros section on the type of photos I take. I have looked at my exif data and it show I manly shoot below 50mm but the exact focal length varies.
