2012 mirrorless sales in Japan
Here is BCN's summary of mirrorless unit camera sales for the first 10 months of 2012. As of Oct 22 (the right hand side of the graph), market shares were: Olympus 28.6% (green), Sony 23.5% (blue), Panasonic 17.3% (brown), Nikon 12.8% (yellow), Canon 9.2% (red) and Pentax 8.6%. Mirrorless sales exceeded DSLR sales in for the first time in January, but their market share leveled off this year and is currently just below half of ILC unit sales.
