Thank you Alexius, great to read your reply.
I have hung off upgrading from 6 for all the resons you have identified and hence what prompted my enquiry here. Like you, I found the previous versions had bugs and with 6 I found it took me so long to work out how to go about doing what I wanted to create. I found it easier & quicker to learn more about photoshop and achieve what I wanted there. There are so many helpfull youtube tutorials for photoshop. I basicaly now only use version 6 for addition of frames.
I have watched most of the videos showing off the new version 7 suite but I am still not convinced that it is intuitive to use. Seems to me that you would have to invest a lot of time in learning its capabilities before getting to a good productivity level.
I think I will sit on the fence a little longer, perhaps, as onOne have in the past, reduce the price as an incentive to upgrade.
