Fuji dilemma

I was in a caffe across the road from my local camera shop and I was about to walk in and buy the X-E1 with 18mm for general use and a bit of landscape etc.
However I changed my mind at the last minute and would appreciate some advise.
Its simple really I want very high IQ camera and lenses in the most compact form. However I do like the ocassionally wildlife shot so buying into fuji would mean I need another camera as I guess the 60mm is just not long enough?
As such I had thought of buying the Nikon D7000 and the 70-300, however that's a lot of money to tie up if I only use it ocassionally?
The problem is I think I would be tempted to buy the Nikon 16-85 to get more use out of the D7000 and this would mean the Fuji would probably get less use.
So is there really a place for 2 camera systems?
Anyone with or has had 2 systems please give me your opinions
I don't want to go micro four thirds as I want to maximise ISO
thanks
Ian
