Can NEX7 do HSS with Pixel King?

I bought myself a Pixel King wireless adapter for off camera flash. I want to know whether the NEX7 can go past the 1/160 shutter speed when using off camera flash? Also, whether or not it will work with only sony flashes or any sony compatible hot shoe flash?
