I have the K-5 and have handled the K-30.
The top lcd and quiet shutter means K-5 by a mile for me. I'm not interested in video or focus peaking. I thought I'd miss having AA battery option ( after years of K100D's ) but never have.
The K-30 has a nice grip but all hands vary
