Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was wondering about and hadn't thought of.

And/or if there are microlenses on the photosites that give a polarization dependence that itself is dependent on the angle of incidence onto the photosite.

Considering I'm a newb, and I've never used any kind of filter at all, I guess these questions are above my pay grade anyway
