It seems that when you select an adapter to use, and then return to the camera without the adapter, the filter for m43 lenses is removed and you can 'mount' any of the lenses in their database regardless of format.

The process you write of is not entirely clear to me; can you kindly put in other words? Moreover, even following the link you provided, I cannot replicate your findings.

Ciao!

Viva la evoluciĆ³n!

Sorry about that, lets try some instructions:

1. Go here: http://camerasize.com/compact/

2. Select your camera of choice and click the plus sign to add the camera.

3. Change the view on the camera to 'top with interchangeable lenses'

4. Click 'click to add lens'

5. When the 'add a lens' popup window opens, click on the top dropdown list and change the selection from "without an adapter" to "Panasonic DMW-MA1".

6. Change the selection in the dropdown list from "Panasonic DMW-MA1" back to "without an adapter"

7. Now the lower dropdown list will have changed from a default list starting with the 'Panasonic 14-42' to a 'Pentax SMA FA 43mm F1.9 Limited' (or another lens - this appears to be browser dependent), and you will be able to mount any manufacturers lens to your camera of choice!

This concept also appears to work on other cameras other than m43.  Kind of fun.
