When size really matters
Nov 1, 2012

Just got back from a 6 day trip in Canyonlands Ntl. Park riding my Mt. Bike on the White rim trail.  We started planning about a year in advance and I thought I had everything I needed.  The one thing I forgot (on purpose actually) was my lowealpine camera fanny pack that I use while I ride. I thought I could just keep my camera in the support vehicle and grab it as I went, however, the mt. bikes could go so much faster and the scenery is world class that I needed to take a picture around every corner and keeping it in the support vehicle was not practical.

BUT the really cool thing is that with my k7 and a 15mm ltd lens attached I could easily just stow the camera in the back pocket of my riding jersey because it is so small!

So cheers to weather sealed pentax bodies(there was a TON of dust) and the small prime lenses Pentax makes.  They truly are an adventurers freind.
