Agreed. There is a reason the Canon 24-120 f4 is so popular. As is the Nikon 24-105 f4.

We need a updated native m4/3 lens in an equivalent range, with pro level build quality, top optical performance and at least f4. The 5.6 kit lenses are not a substitute. Throw in image stabilization for those of us who prefer Panasonic cameras.

Just for the record, I own and use the 14-54 MkII. But I would pay the price of the 12-60 for a native m4/3 version with the same quality and the focus speed of the best m4/3 lenses.
