Google Maps question

I wasn't aware that there were external GPS receivers that worked with Android tables, or more to the point, that android tablets worked with external GPS receivers. If there is such a thing, and your tablet works with it, I would think it would work fine, but it would be an extra piece of equipment to deal with.
