It's a compact that will fit in a pocket, but it's got a 2/3" sensor (bigger than everything but the rx100), f1.8 lens, nice looking and probably nicely built, but will cost less than the sony ($499). It should give IQ similar to the Fuji x10, which produces nice results, in a pocketable package. Might be worth a look!
If you look at the apertures available through the zoom range it's not so impressive. 1.8 at the wide end but closes down quite a bit as you zoom. Not nearly as good as the x10 unfortunately.
