My new x100 - I thought they fixed the MF?

Full MF on the X100 sucks. They can't/wont't fix it.

However!

If you pre-focus with the AFL/AEL button, then fine-tune with MF, it works really well, and is pretty quick once you get used to it. My routine is as follows:

1. point to where I want focus
2. press AFL/AEL button for quick pre-focus on that spot
3. switch to zoom mode (pushing on the black command control wheel)
4. fine tune the focus with the focus ring
