FZ200 - Do these things have a "break-in" period??

This question was asked somewhat "tongue-in-cheek", but I'd swear that my FZ200 is much, uhhh, sharper(?) now. I can't say if it was missing focus a tad, or if the IS was causing some blur, but it was present on every shot. It was better on a tripod with IS off, but still not quite right. Now the problem is gone. I guess it COULD just be me..... naaaah.
